question about plant odor and carbon filters

1.will 3 plants stink up the whole house? 2 nirvana white widow and 1 super lemon haze
2. How do you install a carbon filter? do you need to make a hole in your wall or can you leave it with a fan turned on in your closet to recycle the air?
