Question about prunning

My plants are bushy and are 3 months old. Strains are unknown, but were from cronic like Indica.

I been taking off the big leaves and letting the sun into the plant. Is this cool? I will post pics today.

If there big enough you can try to remove the bottom leaves, for better air circulation.
