do you guys encounter any problems with high air temps like (85-90 F.) with ebb and flood setups?

occassionally gets high 80's or maybe low 90's
good air circulation and I've had no problems.
don't have lights running during hottest part of the
day w/ch helps....

I don't see a question, but I will respond anyways.

You must keep your res. down in the low 70's or it will grow all kinds of wierds algee.

If you water aften enough you will not dry out your roots. It can be done.

Good Luck.

its just that where i live it gets humid and hot high 90's. i have 4 600 hps in a 8x8 room it gets hot, and lights are on only at night. i want have a problem keeping my res tmeps down.

iv been growing in coco but im tired of having to flush that stuff and using massiv amounts of water and nutes run to waste.

so now im going to swap over to flood and drain, i guess i can only hope this is going to be a good move.

Do you have the rez outside the tent?
Is the room the tent is in have AC?
Are you using a dehumidifier?

Flood and drain is not really what you want and isn't what you mean, IMO you are talking about going to ebb and flood/recirculating. Ebb and drain is flooding with nutes then draining them after one use. Same as what you mentioned in your post as wanting to stop doing.

my temps are high as shit with flood an drain but i'm not ventilated YET. All i can say is it sucks when your are to 90 degrees no matter what medium your growing in so fisrt step should be getting temps down. more vents and as stronger fans etc
