question for lights for pcbox

hi im from greece, in greece we have only one foroum and i thinking to add my question here and i dont know good english, so i start my question, how many watts is good for one pcbox for two lowryders and how many watts is the higher for one pcbox(for two lowryders) and who lamp is better(hps,cfl or...) ? thanks, im new grower and this is the first time to try grow marijuana and try to learn how,thanks again

you will want cfl for a pc box hps would be to hot for that small of space. you would want to start with 2 23w 6500k cfl's after a few weeks you can add a couple more 23w of the same 6500k. when you flower you will want 8 23w 2700K cfls minimum

you could even look for a decent sized led they produce little heat and have more of the usable spectrum

yes and me hear for the hps its hot for this space, but 8 cfl cant put to this space, so one cfl with more watts 150-200-250watts its better, what do you thing for one cfl? how watts is the higher for the pcbox?

the thing about the higher wattage cfl's is they get a lot bigger after the 40w range get really big, if space is to big of an issue i would look into led grow lights

because im from greece dont know good english, if understand good you say the 40watts cfl is the higher for the pcbox, earlier you say for 8 cfls 23watts=184watts, so?

sorry no what i was saying is if 8 23w would be too much for your box then higher wattage would not work either, after 40w and higher the size of the bulb gets much much bigger like so
the bulb on the left is a 13w cfl the one on the right is a 50w cfl
