Those plants will explode out that container. I'd imagine you would need minimum 5 gal containers with 6inch or bigger net pots. The weight of the plants will make those tiny net pots fall when they get big.

My first grow was a 3.5" net pot in 2g buckets. 4 net pots wouldn't fit in one bucket.

The size of the net pot does not determine the size of a plant. I had 3" net pots and plants with 2" diameter stocks.
Those plants are gonna suck the fuck out of the 2 gallons and the ph will change in a flash when they get bigger. To fix this problem, hook the 2 gallon bucket to a 40 gallon reservoir. Then train the plants outwards so they don't fight for the light.
Or you could just transplant each one to it's own 5 gallon bucket when they start to kick out root.

Huge difference. The rootball that will have the potential to fill either of those buckets up. Just depends on how big you want the plants to get. Transfer the netpots to individual containers.
