Question On Lighting

Hello everyone:
I am currently using CFLs to grow. 2700k for flowering
I have someone giving me a 250 watt metal halide light . I know Hps is better for flowering than MH
My question is: Would the MH give me better results than my CFLs.
EG.. I have 364w of CFLs now. Would it be better to go with the 250w mh and another 100w or so of 2700k cfls?

yep yep more light plus uv-b it'll help make em frosty. just pre-plan so you only have to it set it up once. set it so can move up and down and a fan on it to keep it cool and avoid spraying the bulb at all costs

I'd say mh plus supplemental cfl as long as you can handle heat

Good deal there.. The 400 watt will work wonders for you way better than cfl bulbs.

yes, bonus for sure.

Is it an electronic ballast or magnetic? At least some electronic ballasts will run HPS as well as MH. Then you could switch them out for veg and flower
