Redirecting the energy towards the top during vegging seems to even out any stunting as well (obviously depending on how far you go) - but I think way too many people worry about "stunting" their plants, just don't spread it out over multiple days.Does this also prolong flowering by any?

As in do the entire plant in one setting. Don't remove branches/leafs one day and remove some more the next day. Basically do it right the first time.Just don't spread it over a couple days?
Having lots of leaves is what we are aiming to do...the leaves produce the buds....periodI find it better to LST them so that the light reaches the main sites. Also alot of ppl say that having more leaves helps the plant in the late stages.
same.............I trim about a third off the bottoms. At the same time I take clones. Usually a week before I switch them to flower.
