7.0 is a little on the high side for soil. you can grow with 7.0 but it may create complications further down the road. you generally want to aim at 6.5

You can use vinigar to bring your ph down... but I wouldn't really recommend it unless you have an acurate ph meter. You could through it to much out of wack easily.

I was told though a rough estimate would be 1 drop of vinigar per liter. I have never tried this method so I can't speak from personal experience, I just went to a pet store and bought some ph down. It was even on sale, so I think it was like 3 bucks total.

You are playing Russian Roullette with your plants if you use household chemicals to vary the ph level. Fork our the $10 and buy the kit.

I bought the PH Minus that you use for your SPA or Pool (in walmart in the pool care section, you can also get a better PH and a chlorine kit) Chlorine in the water can and will KILL a new grow (I KNow it was one of my original problems)

I'm sure there is, but I would not reccommend it. Let me ask you a question:
Would you water your plants with pool water?
