Quick dry

can a quicker drying time be achieved with a red heat lamp? i have the bud in a wooden box, under the light. ideas arewelcome. its not the whole harvest, but jus a nug

It will dry it quicker. It won't be worth a shit to smoke, it will get dry. You might want to try the microwave if yo just want to dry a bud to smoke. I pop mine in, on a paper plate covered by another one, hit it for 15 sec, fluff it around and hit it for another 10 sec. Now chop it, put it under that light for like five minutes and youi will ggod to go. It will be a little harsh. VV

yeah jsut through some fans on that bow and get rid of the light

good looking out. i didnt get a chance to re-check this thread but youll get a laugh outa this. put the box (lid closed) under the lamp, went inside to watch a movie. came back outside 2hrs. later and the lamp seared the top of the box. it was all balck and chared on top of the box. i picked up the nug and there was a puddle under neath it (assuming the moisture from the bud). the bud smelled like cedar (the box) and i couldnt help but try a smoke. tasted like cedar too, horrible taste. but yeah, if anyone ever wants a "smoked" smoke flavor, thats the way to go. i just clipped the rest of the plant, sticking with the shoe box dry, stand it up vertical and hang some strings with buds. im gonna be gone for the next week so hopefully when i get back theyll be all set.

Leave a fan in there with them and it should be fine. should have tried to smoket he oil

I fold a piece of computer paper and then put it on my lava lamp over the light when the glass lava thing is taken out. dries in 5 min when cut up

if you grew it yourself jus wait till it drys itself your jus gonna waste it all by doing that..

Convection: I slung a nug under the toaster with a fan on it. As the nug dried and moister radiated off it, the fan blew away the wet and left the icky sticky.

LOUNGE: I got high

thanks all. ive heard of the microwave thing but would be afraid to like, melt trichs or something. it came out all good, im drying the rest the regular way. the cedar bud actually had an alright taste after two days of jus sitting and drying. its got a nice, rustic tatse haha. but in conclusion, never again will i attempt something like that haha.

well lets see I do fck occasionally, and occasionally I do stupid things like try to have an intelligent conversation when we are one mind short, I don't know if that makes me 'fucking stupid' or not. If it does , will you please notify Jorge, let him now he is fucking stupid, since I read about it in his book. No offense bro , but i tryed this a couple years ago and within 15 seconds it caught on fire , me and my buddy had to smoke our sesh outta the microwave pretty much , plus even if it doesnt burn it to a crisp it vaporizes most of the thc , so i'd say its a dumb idea.
