Quick fan/carbon filter question. Will +rep

Just a quick question.

I have a Mountain Air MA0620 Carbon filter.

Specs for the filter are
Indicative CFM - 265
Recommended **High CFM - 326


Now does that mean my cfm must be LESS than 326? Or there must be 326cfm pulling through the filter?

Stupid question I know, but I wanna make sure I know which fan to order, before I order it =D

im sure it will work just fine you can prob lower the CFM on the fan with a adjuster or something thats not a big CFM difference youll be fine



it will give you a little extra space too if you wanna make the vent longer im pretty sure the CFM gets lower the longer the air has to travel threw the vent

Well what I was wanting to know is, for the filter to work, does the fan need to be atleast 325cfm for the odor to be removed?

oh the cfm is for the filter is like the min cfm for it to work so 265+ will work

Just wasnt sure if it was saying that it needed to be UNDER 325. Ordering a 450cfm fan, and didnt wanna spend $150 on nothing =D
