Quick home made tandem carrier for light mover

Mr I Can Do That For Half
Heres a few quick looks at a homemade tandem light mover I made.It lets me move 2 lights together using 1 light mover. It moves 2 600 watt lights back and forth.I used a 5 foot 1 inch hollow aluminum bar and some eye hooks with threads and nuts to make hanger points 6 total to move lights in or out.The hardest part was figuring out how to drop the center since this is a chain drive mover and not a 3.5 rail kind. Anyways just couple quick looks of it in use over a new aero grow

Is it a garage door opener? What makes it move "slow" if its a GDO? This looks cool!!!

nope its a regular light mover which is a 6 foot tracl and this kind is the older kind with the chain drive motor and sprocket instead of the newer kind with motor and push rods. I then used the aluminum tube I bought and some supplies to make the cross bar and ballance the tandem carrier.these are made to carry 1 light but with a little thinking you can modify anything. This one I have set to take about 30 minutes from 1 side to the next and back.It keeps doing that 24 hours a day acting like the moving sun stopping plants from leaning to find the light as its aways right there

Cool...I thought it was a DIY, but it makes me think you might be able to rig an old Garage door like that too!

It is a DIY.The title says it right there a homemade tandem carrier for light mover.Theres the light mover and then the handmade alluminum cut and balanced tandam light bar for carrying 2 lights on a single light mover?????
