quick question - harvesting

Hello everyone. This is my first grow outside and when I come to harvest the plants I need to put them in a backpack or something to take them home to dry.. Should I cut the buds there and then and put them all together and then take them home? Cheers for any help you can give

That is entirely a personal choice.
If you have the room I would cut down the entire plant.
Then when u get home you can let the stalk dry out and make some hash

I cut the branches off, lay them in a newpaper, roll the paper up and put it in the backpack. Get it home as quick as I can and start trimming and hanging the branches.
