So I'm going on vacation for a week and no one will be able to tend to my girls. Anyone have any experience with this? Should I give them a flush type feeding so that they will stay moist for a week. They both had 1.5L or .38gal each yesterday...if you have experience post it here, it would be much appreciated.

A week is kinda long. A lot can happen. If I were you and had no one to watch them for me and also had no time to install a simple irrigation system, I would water the piss out of them the day of departure and fill up the trays under the container with water also. Depending on how your room runs this could very well keep your plants happy for that time.

get your mom to watch it for you. Someones gotta be there for a week. Pay her and maybe shell dust for you ;) i dont know many guys that take unsupervised vacations. Theres gotta be someone you trust.

I don't take vacations or days off from my grow. its a super full time job, unlike my previous shitty hourly jobs working for one of the BIG 3 auto companies. sick or injured, I still report for my garden work.

Thanks for the info guys, It's dark in the grow room now so i don't want to water for fear of making the plant too cold. Usually there is about five-six days between watering but I filled the bottom of the tray as well. I noticed this morning a massive growth spurt so hopefully they don't drink faster while I'm away. Well, here's hoping my girls are still alive upon my return!

So I just got back from Cuba and guess what!!?? My girls are thriving! I'll post in another thread too, but anyone looking at this if you could help me out. Whats my next step for SCROG? Do I pull down my two main stems to LST? Have a look.

Avoid the Aqua Globes sold to "slowly" water plants. Invested $30 in 3 sets of these and all of them drained in 45 seconds.

Is there an alternative to those aqua globes? I was thinking of buying them but thought I'd check this site first to see what community members had to say about them and lo and behold, I came across your post.

That plant was still small enough that it wasnt going to drink all that much water in a weeks time. If it was a bushy 4 footer it would have been different.
Thats a cute little Indica.
Look into LST if you have time to veg her awhile.

There are automatic watering globes that are on a timer and hold 500+ml. I have a pic of one on my other phone (just got a new one) at home. I'll post it later tonight. You can also look into a pro setup. You can do a cheap setup for about $100-$150. Setup you timer, hoses, and a 5G-10G bucket of water and Bob's your uncle.
