Hey guys just wanted to know something real quick before I make the change. Is it ok to switch to 12/12 with the mh? I have the hps but I'm still trying veg it a little longer, but I need to switch like real soon. Once she starts shooting pistils I was gonna switch to the hps bulb. I have a 400w mh/hps setup.

Yes, it is recommended to keep them under the MH for the first 2 weeks of flower anyway. It helps control the stretch.

it is okay for the first couple weeks of flower. you can flower with MH but your yield will be significantly less compared to flowering with HPS...however your resin production is more with strictly MH....the best thing that works for me is having reflectors with HPS bulbs and then have self hanging MH bulbs in between to get more of a full spectrum of light.

It's a girl she's finally starting to show signs after a week and 2 days the only thing is that I just started another seed because I hadn't seen signs from the first plant lol..

Id mix the spectrum if u can thru all stages ....more resin in flowering and better over all growth....the plants desires a full spectrum

Well I have it under the mh rite now and I had planned on keeping it under for another week 1/2 then do the switch to hps. I still have a t8 fixture I throw in there as well so I should be ok. I thinking of starting her on some nutes she hasn't had any yet so any recommendations?

Hey guys quick question? Can I top my side branches I don't want to top the very top of the plant I'm lst'ing her and I want the side branches to have 2 colas and he top to have 1. Also I noticed he pistils shooting out Saturday morning is it ok to put her back to 18/6 I had her on 12/12 for a week and 3 days. I want to veg her for 2 more weeks.

why not just veg her till you see the sex? you dont have to flower to figure out the sex. you can also take clones and put them on 12/12 after they root and figure out the sex if you want.

The reason I induced flowering was because I have an upcoming surgery and I'm not gonne be able to move around for some time so I wanted to go ahead and flower. But since I know it's a female (bagseed) I was thinking of putting the lights back to 18/6 and veg it till I'm out of the hospital next week.

it will stress the plant and it will take the plant 2 weeks probably to start back revegging. its gonna look ugly and then its going to take a bit to make it start flowering again. not worth the time you will wish you had never stopped flowering it. you will end up just confusing the crap outa that plant.

Ok ill just keep it under the 12/12. I'm gonna start taking clones tomorrow. I'm lst'ing her now I wanna keep her from gettin to big.
