Just bought a new 600watt light with a 350 and 400 watt light setting. Put new bulb for flowering 2 feet above plant. Is that far enough cause leaves are starting g to burn. Been watering slot too cause of the heat. Any ideas on the leaf burn. Thanks.

back of hand test: hover your hand over your plant, if the back of your hand gets uncomfortable hot in 10 sec or less its too close. Lift the light till its comfy for your hand. Get a fan on the tops to cool always. May be a little shock for them so turn down the intensity and bring it up daily slightly till they can handle it.

Was this in the middle of a flowering that you switched lights? Some plants don't like that. If not it could be2 close. Back of hand test as above. Do you have an enclosed bulb or something similar?

Ok. I'll try it it was wither the light too much water or ever I added blood meal to the plant soil before I started watering it most of the leaves are wilted or burned the nodes are Brown on the top.
