Quick Watering Question

I have my pots on top of a plastic grate so that water can drip out of the pot. I usually water every 3 days and water untill the soil is soaked through and water is dripping out of the bottom.

I haven't really noticed any major problems yet but is this the proper way to water? or should I not soak the soil through?

It is better to let the soil dry out between watering. Sounds like you got it down.

let one pot dry, then feel the weight compared to a freshly watered pot. then every few days feel the weight. mine usually wilt cause im lazy. thats how you know. you may need to water more often as the plant gets bigger and the climate get hotter.
