4 sheets of paper towel, wet it and drian it. Then arrange ur seeds on it and fold it. Then put a bowl over the paper towel in ur closet or somewhere dark. 2-3 days and you should be ready

Does heat really play that much of a part? How much heat is too much?

I try to keep mine warm to the touch. Come to think of it IDK why warmth helps. That's just how I always heard it.

I'm guessing warm water is just more permeable.

all seeds germinate better in wetter, warmer conditions ;-)
the water helps with the transfer of chemicals that tell the seed to shoot out its initial root cap, and warm conditions are always helpful when assisting with microbiological activity, which must play some sort of roll in the entire germination process

Ah interesting. I suppose it makes sense, warmer things absorb water faster, probably because of thermal expansion at a microscopic level?

Thanks guys ;)

and the seed's genetic material sense the warmth and figures it must be spring and it's time to get busy
