R.i patient visiting san diego

im going to san diego on 4-14 and just wanted to know for sure if the dispenserys take out of state patients?
the whole thing is that my girl has a confrence to go to in SD and the only reason i told her i go is to visit the dispenserys and maybe the zoo.i booked my ticket and something told me to call a couple of dispenserys to see.well they said no out of state patients.i am very bummed out.dont get me wrong i would love to visit california but its just not the same without weed.people on the east coast hear alot about the west coast strains that you cant get here,you guys are like the pioneers of MJ in this country.

also i heard from someone that they sell MJ cards right on the beach(venice beach i think)for like 50.00.anyone know if thats true?

They sell 'em lots of places for around 50 bucks, but you need a Cali ID to get a Cali recommendation, sorry bro.

Unfortunately you won't get one without a valid California ID and nobody that I know of will risk taking in out of state patients.

You can literally find it anywhere though, just go to Ocean Beach and follow the smell...

Agreed, follow your nose and tell them "Dude, I'm from RI and I'm dying to smoke, can you help me out, or can I hit that shit?"

Just to go a bar near the beach in OB buy someone a beer and ask him/her to help you out, there are plenty of collectives there to choose from and everyone there is high on something, lol

why dont you call the delivery service people? just tell them you have a rec. from another state.(your rec might actually be legit lol) go on weedmaps and check out all the different places and just call around. people are either layed back or assholes here. if you go to the many dispensaries around, especially at pacific beach or ocean beach, just wait for people to be hangin outside and tell em your situation. as long as you meet a nice laid back person they might pick u up some stuff.
