Rate of Drying, or Loss of Weight Over Time During Drying

I just harvested yesterday and my buds are already about 40% of the weight they were are when cut. They have been drying at around 70-75 degrees, with RH around 50-55%, for about 30 hours. Is this big drop normal? I was expecting 5-7 days of drying, but it is looking like it will be less than that. I read somewhere that they should end up at about 25% of their original weight.

What is the normal rate of drying, as expressed in weight loss, if there is one?

Please advise. Thanks!

EDIT: had my times wrong....fixed. That does seem like a lot of loss in that time frame...but truth be told...I always forget to weigh wet. I just weighed a harvest that was a little over 30 hours into drying and had all major stems removed though.
I got 106.7 grams off a plant. I'm hoping that equates to 56 grams (2 ounces) when fully dry. Weighed in the morning only lost 6 more grams...@ 100.9 now. Starting to hope that I can get a bit over 2 oz.

Well I measured again exactly 24 hours after my first measurement. (which was at 32 hours or so) BUT...I transferred them to paper bags and brought them upstairs where it is hotter. I want to get to the jar as fast as is safe. IMHO the jar does most of the "work"
So in the 24 hours I lost a lot of moisture. I'm now at 80.2 grams which is about a 21-22% loss from 24 hours ago. They are starting to feel a bit crispy on the outside now...still spongy inside though. I cut them into chunks and put them back into the bag.
I'm expecting one more day of semi-dramatic weight loss...then it'll level out.

I'd be interested to know what % you lost from 30 to 54 hours.

Another 24 hours. 58.6 grams as my dry weight. Just put into jars.

So another 21.6 grams of water was lost in 24 hours.

My math isn't great but if we can assume that 75% lost is pretty consistant...

234 grams or so was probably my initial wet weight. My 32 hour weighing was 106.7 That means that I lost about 45% of my initial weight in the span of the first 32 hours.
