re using coco coir

I have a fair amount of large smart pots filled with coco from this summer. Ive been considering grabbing the majority of roots out by hand and re using most likely without enzymes. They were flushed for a week before harvest and have been sitting outside for a month or two now through rain. I was thinking flushing it for a few days with phd water and then go from there. Does anyone see a problem with this? Not sure what kind of issues can happen without enzymes.

Nope, had zero pest problems this season, which is really surprising because I had russet mites and spider mites the year prior. There's always going to be a battle of good and bad bugs I guess.

And as for rotting roots I couldn't tell you, but my plants thought they were delicious apparently..
