Read my Plant Its my first

I have some buds, plant is 13 inches tall. I have very few leaves and my top fan leaves are starting to turn brown and are very dry. Te lower ones are still green and the foliage and buds right next to the stem are a nice green I am currently under a grow T5 Flor. I keep the plant about 2 inches from the top. PLease take a look and tell me what to do next,lol this is my first plant. I have a pic of it and also a second plant that I started. The first pic is from a new plant I just started. The second 2 pics is from the problem plant. both sit right next to each other. Thanks

have u been feeding it anything apart from water???

Yes just recently started to give it some Soul Synthetics GROW formula. Only gave it a little bit, but before this feed, was water only. PLant is in Bio MIx ultimate organic mix

What time schedule are you running? That second one looks like it doesn't know whether to be flowering or vegging.

Next time, keep your light closer(within 1", it's a huge difference in intensity), and it'll promote branching. Also, I'm not sure if you went 12/12 from seed or not, but you'll want to veg a little longer, of you're looking for more yield. T5's are pretty good veg lights, so you should have no trouble growing bushy plants, with very little effort. Some plant training, will help you even further(see: LST, supercropping, FIM, or topping).

The plant that is in the 2nd and 3rd pic are the same and is the plant in question.I got this plant from a friend and he had it on his patio with regular sunlight. I repotted the plant in a bigger pot and put the soil I mentioned and put it under the T5 Flor grow bulbs. The plant has buds on it but also startied getting heavy veg on the lower 1/3 which is new growth. As you can see some of the top fan leaves have turned purple/brown and don't look so well. Is this plant ready to give it some bloom nutrients and put under flower bulbs? or should I wait a little longer? The plant is 12 inches high. Is there a problem with the fan leaves turning color. I just need advice on where to go from here. My first plant is vegin great and everything seems to look great. Thanks

I would put in under lights set at 18/6 or 20/4 for a while. If the top doesn't recover snip it off. At the moment your plant is very confused - by giving it more veg time (at least 2+ weeks) you should be able to let it figure itself out. Those buds should sprout crazy growth if you give it several more weeks after it realizes it is in veg. Once you can tell it is in good health flip it.
