ready to flower??

hey, i have a bagseed female that has been under 24/7 lighting with 2-100 watt cfl's. germinated on the 31st of march (26 days) and been 24/7 since... shes about 10 inches tall.. ive read or misread that you can start the flowering stage after 3 weeks and if they have more than 5 nodes.. can i start the flowering stage or should i just wait and start flowering in another 3 weeks?

yeah id say its ready to go, you could wait a little more but id go ahead.

save bet is 4 weeks of each cycle man an extra week means extra bud right (Y)

bob a plant is ready to flower when the nodes begin to alternate intead of growing side by side. I cant tell from your plant if this is happening yet. what I mean by alternating is one node is on the left of the stem and the next node is on the right. In early veg the nodes grow side by side. Then as they mature the nodes stretch out and the nodes begin to alternate. Any time after this is safe to flower. Post a pic of the nodes and i can let you know

This is essentially correct. However, a plant is not ready to flower, until it is ready to flower. It will not flower until naturally mature, either way. Maturity is reached when the plant grows it nodes on alternating sides. Until this has happened, your plant will not flower. By putting your plant into 12/12 before this happens you are stripping it of its "teenage growth spurt" right before it is mature. If you wait approximately a week and a half (by the looks of your plant) it could easily double your harvest weight (provided you have enough light and space in flower, because a couple CFL's won't be enough either way). By letting this happen you also allow the plant to mature without the stress of being forced into it, which makes bud production all that much easier and better. Enjoy....
