Recent Attitude Orders Anyone?

Hey guys what's going on? I was just wondering if anyone would be willing to share their experience that has ordered seeds from Attitude lately? I am on the East Coast of the US, so I am guessing my shipment will go through the NY customs instead of Chicago, which seems to be picking up a lot of shipments lately... Just wanted to know you guys success rate and such with them, I placed my order last Friday, May 17, and the Royal Mail tracking says it has been dispatched to carrier for delivery in US, and the USPS page is still saying that Origin Post crap. This is my first time ordering from Attitude and am a little nervous, not about any repercussions from a seizure, but mainly because I am on a slight time crunch and do not really have a back up plan, I did get the guaranteed "stealth" however with a wallet, it seems like everyone uses the T-Shirts so I thought I would switch it up. Any and all answers are greatly appreciated, if this Attitude order doesn't make it through, does anyone have any suggestions for another more reliable place I can order from?

I have been a greenhouse grower for the past four or five years, but always used bag seed with pretty good results actually, however the greenhouse is no longer getting the same amount of lighting it used to, so I just spent a ton of money all the equipment to make the move indoors, and of course I have not seen a bag seed in forever so I am having to order online, which is something I have always wanted to do anyways. So I am pretty much completely ready to roll, except I do not have a seed to my name. I am praying that my order from Attitude does show up, but I am expecting the worst. Any information and/or good tips would be greatly appreciated guys! Beginning to worry, all of this money is going to go to waste, because I can not get a damn seed to use. Thanks again everyone, I really appreciate you taking the time to read my post!

Because there has been a huge spruce pine growing for probably twenty years in my back yard, and last years it was beginning to become a problem in the early afternoon hours, blocking out all of the sun, and this year, as I was checking everything out for a few days, I have realized that I would probably be better of growing inside, than giving up the light I will be losing from using the greenhouse. The Home Owners Association in my neighborhood as denied the request to cut the tree down, which I actually kind of like it for the privacy from the neighbors house, but I have chosen to go indoors this year. I have a fairly large "shop" in my back yard, around 40' x 20' or so and am moving everything in there. I will say though, that two years ago, I had 4 massive sativas in the green house, easily 8 feet.

Now I have no seeds and am beginning to panic, as I am already pushing it with my time frame. So I have to figure out something extremely fast.

The tracker will show your seeds held in customs until a day AFTER you get them. The package takes 1-2 weeks from when they get to NY til you get them. Attitude has always been reliable for me.

So I more than likely will not ever see them at NY whenever they get there? Right now, I am not seeing anything on the USPS site, except for "Origin Post...", I am debating on placing another order on Friday at Herbies as a back up plan. I guess my philosophy with this kind of stuff is, if you order enough at least one order has to get through eventually?? Hopefully, that will be sooner than latter though.

I will definitely report back whenever I do find something out regarding my order, I am a new member here at RIU, long time reader, I really like the community and plan on doing a grow journal as soon as my seeds arrive, this place is much better than the Grass City forums that I used to be a member of.

Thanks again for the repsonses, I greatly appreciate all of the help guys, looking forward to getting to know all of you in the near future!

Everyone gets so paranoid about a bean order...Imagine what they will act like when they grow them!

+ I only see posts of Chicago snagging packages so if yours came into NY it's probably better.

They can take up to 3 wks. maybe longer depending on the mail delivery.
I've ordered ~10 times and it's been anywhere from 10-20 days.
I'm sure not everyone gets it so fast depends on where your located.
Mine always came through around NY every time.

I've ordered from Attitude about 10x in the past 2 years, and I have received my order everytime anywhere from 7-21 days from the day that I ordered. If your order gets snatched by Customs, and they use their neon tape or put a letter in there for you. Then take a picture and send an email to Attitude, and they will send you another package as long as you got the gurantee. Good luck with your endeavors!

Yes it will state when they are at the NY customs location on USPS site, But as the others said , Just relax they will arrive , Mine come through NY cust, also 15-20 days. they will be their the longest 2- 5 days depending how busy they are. , but after your package exits customs its regular mail service as far as time.

I have ordered from herbies 3 times in the past few months. Shippment came in thru NY customs. I always place my order over the weekend, receive shipping info on Monday, by Thursday the USPS tracking says that it is in Jamaica NY (I assume this is where it enters after going thru customs) and I have had my beans by Saturday everytime! Personal experience, I think I would be getting nervous if I ordered on the 17th and didnt have em yet. All u can do now is hope for the best! Good luck to you.

Yeah, I think I am going to be going with Herbies from now on, at least give them a go and see what happens, have you ever used their super stealth shipping method? I am thinking about using that, however the only thing making me think twice is the beans not being in the original breeders packaging. It seems like Attitude orders do take a bit longer than Herbies orders do to get here, even though they are coming from the same place.

I am not paranoid about growing, I have been growing for more than five years. However this is my first time ever ordering from an online seed bank, for the past years I have always had great bag seed and had some great results, however this year, I have not been able to find a single one if I tried, so this is really my only option, and my whole season is pretty much dependent on getting these beans, so that is what I am more worried about than anything.

I never have used their "stealth" option. I order with breeders packs because my theory is, if they tear your package open- more then likely, u r already busted. They do a decent job hiding em. Not going into details about that though.

Chill out. The attitude is a great place to go with. There are a few great places. It will get here. Its the mail service and not the banks that are slow.

I started out on grasscity also, and I agree. This Forum has better information and more people trying to help. Best thing I've done for my grow was switching to this forum...

Yeah, hopefully everything all is well. Maybe I will see something this week, I am just waiting for the USPS to change the damn status from "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment", today will be the 5th day that I have had that status. Whenever that changes I will loosen up a bit.

Quick update guys...

Just checked my order status again and it finally updated to "Processed through Sort Facility, Jamaica, NY."
Does this mean they have already made it through customs or are they on their way to customs right now? Hopefully they will arrive by Friday with some good luck.

Yay! Time to relax now! They r thru customs! Depending on where in NY u r, id say u have em by Wed or Thurs! I never thought of it, but w the holiday, things r prob slow go thru customs as they r prob extra cautious w all of the homeland security stuff.

Yes they are through customs but you wont know if they snagged it until it arrives + if you handle it correctly you can get replacements(if you need them).

Take pictures of the package with the customs tape + if they ask then take pictures of empty contents.
I've heard they resend new ones but I've never had to.

Just a suggestion > maybe next year order on the off-season BEFORE you plan on using them.

I have some beans I created myself that are 3 years old and still poppin!
