reciprocity maryland/arizona?

I may be working in Maryland this summer. Want to know if anyone knows anything about flying back and forth with med marijuana. I have a current med card for Az. Isn't Maryland also a med state?

Take your card with you to the airport and just carry it on. If they ask about it show them your medical card and tell them you need it for your cancer( or other affliction ) and you should be golden (in theory).

Don't use UPS or Fedex neither. If anything use the USPS. UPS & Fedex are both privately owned and allow local police to bring dogs in and sniff packages. The USPS doesn't do that and they won't open a package without a warrant.

I've known a few patients that just carry it on.. remember TSA employees are not real cops, and the airport you are flying through is in Arizona where you are legal to possess up to 2.5 oz. Sometimes they have to explain the card situation if they get stopped in the first place.

Same here I have heard the same thing some TSA employees just ignore it if its a small amount.

I have done this. I called the airport police and they said as long as your card is good and u are under the limit u are fine. No problems at all.

The only thing the TSA can do is get the Phx PD involved - and if u r legal u r good to go.

Unless you have it in writing, I would even think about trying this. Just mail it to yourself, sent very stealthy.

I repeat, tsa agents are not able to arrest you, they aren't an officer in any way shape or form... they just wear badges to look official

I can only speak for Denver International.

I have a Colorado and a Arizona MMJ license so I can legally fly 2 ozs at a time back from Denver. And at $250 for two ozs at Evergreen Apothecary in Denver which is nothing but top shelf, these AZ dispensaries can kiss my ass.

I just have to declare to TSA what Im carrying before it goes through the xray


$49 each way from Phx. 250 for two ozs.

350 bucks for two ozs is cheaper than one oz at any dispensary in the state. And I get the spend the weekend in Denver

Too bad you couldnt get more than 2 zips at a time.

I'm flying to Minneapolis Friday and would like some clarification on flying with edibles and can't get any answers. I called TSA at Sky Harbor and they told me to call the police. I called airport police and they said to check with TSA. WTF!! I asked the police if I'd get arrested and they said no it just might get taken away from me but I won't get arrested. I'm taking two brownies in unopened packages from a dispensary. Yes I am a patient, with a valid AZ med card and will not be trying to disguise my meds. I know Minnesota is not a medical state yet but will not be returning with any on my return trip. Not getting any straight answers from TSA or the police is stressing me out.
