What seeds would you recommend for a first time outdoor grower? EDIT: I prefer a high THC content because I am planning on selling some.

yhe easiest plant I ever grew was tangerine kush, bullet proof and almost idiot proof, will take a lot of punishment and is also high thc but the Wonder Woman GB was referring to apparently gives a huge yield. But if it's your first grow don't expect miracles, it's a process of learning your craft. Good luck!!!

bag seed. its your first time so why potentially waste a fair amount of money on buying seeds.
learn with free seeds and then spend the $$$ on seed once you have a few successful grows.

what reza92 said.
if you cant find bagseed idk if it'd be ok in riu's eyes but i got ~110-115 (lost count) seeds (~95 are from some old school sativa dominant genetics id like to share, ~6-10 were something resembling candyland, and the rest were from stuff that came out okay for shit growers, making me want to grow them right) in a bag id get rid of to anyone for $40 or a few grams of some concentrates (maybe a first dab) or a nice bong/oil rig.

Go with bagseed if you want to but then be dissapointed like me when u have problems cos you have just put in seeds from an area that is different to yours or its some strain thats been in the hydro system for a few runs but doesnt like it outdoor etc...after the last 5 yrs of growing bagseed or something my mate gives me i now buy my seeds and i wont go back to bagseed ever ....my opinion only but id rather "buy" flavours for my climate and know what they are called than growing something a friend says will go well only to have problems with it.
Whats $50 worth of seeds a year for a potential 10/10 plant or 3 ?

we are supposedly talking new grower. the best you can hope for from a new grower would be potential 7.5/10. my scale puts most high quality weed at a 6.5-7, with legit one hitter quitter thc fuckup 32% thc + 6%cbd +1.8% terpenes with 5-8% being decarbed scoring 10/10. i've been stuck reading results for the last week for fun btw. http://analytical360.com/testresults has washingtons med results if you want a good look at some nug porn.
anyways as stated before the bagseed is so you don't drown, burn, starve, and basically waste the 50 dollars while losing confidence in your ability to grow weed.
Think, a newb spends $50 in seeds, $40 on growing supplies, and $150 on equipment hoping for only 6 oz (maybe $450-500 from their hookup, quality is about $650 worth). the newb kills the seeds and wastes $20 of the $40 of the supplies. another $50 + another $20 to start over. $270 +tax out of pocket so far... newb is on city water and is running lights during day to avoid pesky neighbors. they grow an okay plant yielding 4.5 oz of same grade as their hookup. water and power only cost them $85 for the whole grow luckily. $395. about what he pays hookup for 4.5. as this post implies, newb smokes ~2.5 oz a month and wont live without to the extremes of dropping $800 on weed every 4-6 months.

They really didn't save anything if you factor the unenjoyable work parts as man hours.
newb finding 10 bagseed from stuff he likes (or didn't but probably because it was grown very poorly in some crazy mix like horse shit, uncooked cow manure, wood chips, sifted ashes, and toxic "moon" sand) and germing with a 5/5 split then accidentally killing 2 females, having to kill 1 hermie, and only yielding 4 oz of some rare lost strains long lost phenotype saves $120 dollars by not buying seeds (twice.)
Point being, $275 for 4 is much more reasonable than $395 for 4.5 as a novice will generally arrive at the same results no matter what they buy until second grow.
sorry to ramble. killer 3 hour smoke vape eat session going on.

Don't listen to random strain names that doesn't make sense to a new grower. You can't go wrong with anything with afghani or high % of indica genetics, they're generally shorter flower, easier growing, non nutrient sensitive plants and also have a higher chance of superior quality bud/bag appeal if you're looking to sell. Wait till you have some more experience before you start growing sativa dominant plants. The Open show and tell thread 2014 has a lot of experienced outdoor growers so you could easily ask for a few suggestions from that thread also.

Good luck for your first grow!. Remember to do a shit load of research on the net before actually planting if you want a good season.
Cheers.

if you have never grown anything i would pop some bag seed and see if u can keep them alive for a couple weeks. if they survive, then i would get some good seeds and grow that.

Don't waste time. Get some feminized seeds that will finish in your area.
Better to waste a couple dollars, than all your time on males, or plants that wont finish.

I wouldnt suggest bagseed unless youre up for the crapshoot. And definitely not a suggestion for beginners. You never know what youre going to get, nor how it will act/respond. At least when you know what youre planting you have an idea of what to expect and probably can find guys here with specific advice on the strain.

Really? Either you think way too much or you were extremely high when you wrote this :). Just kidding, but come on. One needs to learn first by falling on their face or learning they are really good at this growing game. I bought seeds straight away 5 years ago and I am glad I did. Now I'll throw some bagseed out once in a while since I know its all local, but wouldnt have started that way.

Just was rambling elsewhere, I need to get to bed.. lol
you think way too much or you were extremely high
change or for and.
One needs to learn first by falling on their face or learning they are really good at this growing game.
This was exactly why i was saying bagseed first. Sometimes $50 can be a big deal.
I find it easier to learn with an "experimental" plant, usually a bagseed seedling. They are great for practice in topping, tiedowns, defoliation, hanging upside down in topsy turvy, etc.
I find most bagseed do fine in a nice soil weaker in nutes, are really fun to train, and cost next to nothing. If they come out female and successfully bud thats great. if they're male they didn't cost more than a nickel, plus you now have male hormones in the soil..
A few weeks into a bagseed grow, you should know whether you have a green thumb or not. Once you know, that $50 in seeds is truly an investment rather than a gamble.
If were playing games of chance here (whether or not have green thumb), I'd rather play regular roulette with a low ante (bagseed) over high stakes russian roulette (seed co).

I just don't feel right telling anyone who is not 100% confident in their abilities to spend an outrageous amount of money on the best stuff they can (especially when seeds may not germ, females hermie regularly from stress, and "feminized" seeds have been known to even spit out straight males. wouldn't that be a shitty pack of 3?). Once they are confident, that all changes though.
