red stems and stalk........

I can tell you that some plants its just in the genetics. They will be purple when they are young and remain purple or red when they flower.

Other plants that naturally have green stalks will turn purple if they get to cold. Once you warm them up again the get green again but some of the stalk will always remain purple, or stripped purple. I think it has to do with circulation of nutrients.

i would have to say a red/purple stem is high stress caused by pH or genetics(some strains have purple stems).

some leaves are purple because of the strain and strain only. i see it as stress and big lead my plants about 10-7 days before i harvest. to ensure the middle and lower buds get light.
