HID light? get a reflector.. most light/ballast kits come with a reflector, even if it isn't top quality

and think.. if the light has to bounce off the ceiling and then back to the plants, how intense will that be? imo, if your gunna buy the light, grab a reflector too, it helps sooo much

yeah i hear ya, but isnt the mylar tech enuff? my big worry is when it come close to the end of flowering aand i dont have room, they way i see it im flowering @18" so assume 3x growth that 48" add the height of plant pot to base of plant so now were 60" that only leaves me with 12" if light is right at the top add the reflector and im into my plants

is 400w really enough for 3 plants, even with the mylar? Im currently useing a 600w for 2 plants and it seems dead on the money. last harvest I had 1 plant with the same 600w and my yield was 380g Super Skunk

If my math is correct, and you flower at 18'' in a 6 ft room, you will be more than in the clear.. 3x is quite a growth spurt, u growing some real sativa's eh? (pun not intended).. even if they do stretch, you have lots of room to tie down so they dont burn..

size should not be a restraint for your grow at all.. and imo, 400W is adequate lighting for 3 plants
