Did the Drs office do the Notary as well? I ask because I've seen the registry send it back after you submit with the corrected Notary issue. Their excuse the second time was because it was older then the 60 days since Dr signed.
Two ways to handle this:
If the Dr office supplied the Notary, go back to them with the letter from the registry and ask(politely at first and then move to demanding if need be) them to give you a new Drs recommendation.
Or send it back with corrected Notary issue and original Drs Rec. About 99.9% of the time they will reject for being over the 60 days and send it back to you again for correction (to get a new Drs rec.). All the while you have kept your proof of mailings each time. Send it back for a third time and when they FINALLY approve it, you will have 1 year from that date.
Another issue is if your paying with a MO, the registry claims they are dead after 90 days. So watch for that as well.

Ok so the State rejected my application due notary's mistake. The state sent all of my info back with a new application saying to corret the mistake and send the app back. so what about the 60day period from when the doc signs it and you send it in? i saw the doc 5-4-10 and they opened my info in 6-14-10 but i got everything back in the mail today(the letter they sent back is post marked 8-30-10).
Thank you for you help.
