Relation between rain and fertilizing soil

So,i have simple question,i couldnt find answer on site? What is relation between rain and nutes...I forgot 2 plants,and they are very hungry.Rain started,after fuckin 40 days of catastrophical drought...So what are your thoughts about rain and adding nutes into the soil...Should i do it during the rain,wait for the rain to stop,or wait few days after the rain?My logic is yelling that rain will wash away all the nutes,so i should wait rain to stop,than add nutes,and wait high temperatures that are predicted for next weeks...Any thoughts?
