Quick question.. Currently in NY and relocating to San Diego, Is it worth me growing out there? I am currently getting $4000 per lb and was wondering if the prices were the same out there? Can you just sell it to Dispen's and how much do they rape you for it per pound or would it be wiser just to sell to med patients? I grow the strains OG Kush (the real deal) White widow from greenhouse seeds, Super Silver haze and Blueberry .. 12 years experience so not worried out people "outgrowing me" Just want a little info on how to get started. I have been contemplating moving for a couple of years and finally decided to within the next 3 month so i have enough time to get my affairs in order.. Please no neg comments... P.s. Will be doing everything by the law and INDOORS

You might get 2000-2400/lb for some high quality indoor. It all depends on who you know. More if you have some of the strains that are popular on the west coast. Upwards of 2800-3200/lb if you have some gsc for example.

Ive seen people letting go of some A+ Og kush for 2k indoor grown, even then it was a struggle. You're best bet is to keep your connections in NY and ship it if you really want to make some $$$.

No one that I know even wants blueberry or ssh. You can try to sell to the dispensary. However, most of them already have their vendors and if not, they're growing it themselves. To top it off dispensaries can be closed here at the drop of a dime. Good luck.

EDIT* This is in Northen Cali. I am sure Southern Cali is probably the similar.

Not to mention with you being from out of state it's going to take some time for people to warm up to you. First thing you need to do when you get settled in is get rid of your out of state license plates. I used to have skin head lookin mother fuckers in lake elsinore yelling out there windows at me. Also try to make friends with people in different parts of the business. Or as suggested as above...out of state always pay well...but you WILL eventually get caught.

lol^^ Im moving the hell out of CA when I can, Great place to be from and visit but I need to explore.... anyways youre not going to find GSC anywhere not even seeds online, it sucks because just like every other strain people are just going to steal the name and water down the strain. Green crack, trainwreck, GDP etc.... they where all killer till people stole the names for profit

You can check some menus on weedmaps, Im from the bay area and a lot of places have their menus with pics online (Harborside, Berkeley Patients Group, CBCB). I would imagine some Socal clubs do too so you can check out the competition, and it is definitely a competition :). People have their game tight out here and its progressed to a level that makes it very difficult to break in and succeed.

All you need to get in the dispensaries is a Dr recommendation, then you can bring in bud for them to check out. Topshelf still gets over $3000. The clubs probably wont be interested in those strains you have now, with the exception of the OG (depending on what it looks like and how high it tests). Good Luck

Up North in CA, the best prices are generally from the buyers who are selling out of state. CA has been flooded for about 2 years now. No matter how good you are; odds are that a dispensary found someone who grows just as good for less by now. The job market is shit in a lot of places, because of that It's not hard to score cheap local product. Not to mention our supreme court ruled that dispensaries can be shut down at any time, thus hurting our more legit market. A lot of weed transactions are going back underground; you'll likely have to know somebody if you're moving weight.

Even if I couldn't make a living gardening in sd I would still move there so I figured hey why not check to see if I could make a buck or two

And what is prices for the cheap local, cause here in ny zips go for 250 which seems quite cheap to me.. People will buy em at that price and turn right around and try getting 4-450 for em

I did exactly what u speak of. From jersey wifes from bk. U can make a living here in sd if ur game is solid. Its not norcal! But if that foxtailed flower is your best u will need a side job. No offense. Come on out I like competition. Just make sure u start with a nice bank roll and say good buy to the cold.
