Remove the plastic wrapping from rockwool cubes or not?? Gonna be using waterfarm

Should I remove the plastic wrapping from the rockwool cubes before planting into the Water Farm system? How deep into the hydroton should I plant the cubes? The Water Farms will be dripping 24/7 and I was concerned about the rockwool staying too wet(?)

Thanks

I, personally, would take the wrapping off. I thought the wrapping was only so the roots would grow straight down and so the rockwool cube could be a stand alone medium in any given scenario. To clarify I mean when germinating seeds and clones in a 1.5 inch block or using a big 6 inch rockwool cube for drip. When you take the wrapping off you are letting roots from the original rootball grow out of the sides, which means the plant will be happy. Any dissenting thoughts out there on this?
