Removing nutrients from soil?

The soil my seedlings were in overfed the plants with nutrients, causing some burns. Is there any way to reduce the nutrient content of a potting soil? Thanks guys!

You're sure it was the soil? You added nothing?

You flush the contiainer with lots of water to flush pre fertilized potting soil. Warm water, not hot, but warm, may do it quicker.
