Just go to your local hardware store and ask for Florissant light ballast. From my experience in the business of remolding homes I have found that you can get t5 bulb ballast literally everywhere.

T5 lights are more of a pain , CFLs are easer to use and you don't need to buy a bals or find the right one since they come with a built in balst

Okay so guys does it not really matter what T ( # ) but is it more just the colour and wattage yeh? Coz ive found these 20w t4 bulbs in white colour. which i think is alright to help with flowering ive got a 6400k 125w envirolite for vegging but for flowering i have 1 2700k 125w envirolite but for side lighting if i get 2 of each will this work?

Really?
T5s put out way more lumens than cfls can even dream of comparing to without a shit ton of them.
T5's also dont have to be moved individually like most cfl setups do. Which means that they would be LESS of a pain in the ass..

- rep for you. Dont talk like you know something from experience when you only vote for them because they are what you use currently.

if you don't wanna mess around with finding a blast and T5 lights I would just buy some CFLs since they have a built in blast and is a good starter for anyone who is very new to growing

T5 may have more lumes and such then CFLs but that's for the hole bulb bot for 1 area , once I get my area setup I will get some Flor tube lights and blast and will do veging useing CFLs vs Flow tube light

oklay then think about it in this matter...Under that same 10k of lumens you get from the t5, you can fit in about 5-10 plants easy. More if you use smaller containers...If you divide up that amount of light that equals out to be more lumens than the cfls still....

ive done all testing and working with them involved already. its not only more cost effective to use tube lights to veg, but more productive to the plants as well. And like I mentioned before, you dont have the pain in the ass of moving all the cfls then.
