Reply With Partial Guote Not Full Post Quote?

Just wondering, since I'M new to rollitup. How does one reply to a posting with only part of the original posting in the reply? Meaning, if I reply to a quote in a new thread posting with only one sentence. How do I do that with the reply icons?

after you click "reply with quote" just erase the stuff you don't want to show up. as long as you don't change anything in the brackets it should show up fine.

do what total head said.... also if you wanna reply with quote and break it down into paragraphs like I did in this post, just make sure you put the quote tags/brackets at the beggining and end of each paragraph you wanna beak down.
