reptile breeding..?

to break it down for people not in the know about reptiles, there are color variations in certain geckos and snakes called "morphs" and some of these morphs are worth big bucks......ive seen single snakes sell for 20,000......

I was looking to get into it but it sounds/seems like a lot of work, and the market is pretty flooded with the more common morphs ATM.

Has anyone here bred herps? specifically leopard geckos or ball pythons...

I was looking into breeding ball pythons and rainbow boas but the ones we had were less than a year old and, if i recall correctly, they need to be 2-3 years old before they can/should be bred.

i have a ~6 year old ball python of unknown sex, althought im not sure he/she is ready for breeding he has slimmed down a tad lately i need to feed em

I got two words for yall Dogs and Cats people pay big bucks kittens are easier puppies aint bad they just stink and you need to clean out the pen daily once they start eating puppy food but I've had up to 11 pups in one litter $$$ and you can get 2 a year but you want to wait till the bitch is 2 years old so its a hell of an investment that won't payout till about 2.5 years but once you do its worth it you just want more then one bitch if thats your business. you also want a good breed that sells for good money and you got to watch who you buy from some won't even give you full registration and some just give you a hard time think your gonna have a fucked up puppy mill or some shit.

^^ hell yeah! my neighbors had a yellow lab and a black lab and once a year theyd have about a dozen babies and theyd go for 300-500 each!!! HOT DAMN!
