Independent, but I leans towards the left. But at the same time I do see some need for conservatism, and I think our government needs a balance between socialism and capitalism. I know, socialism = bad to everyone, but fuck, its the modern age, thinks simply arent the way they used to be. But at the same time I have mad love (like a stripper) for the free market. So thats why im independant *shrug*
I never decide who I vote for based on issues like, legalization, gay marriage, abortion, gun control, etc. I think these are issues that politicians use to distract us from real problems, therefor I pay them no mind (hope that doesnt offend anyone lol).
I did vote for Obama, hope I made the right decision. So far I think hes done a fair job, though being a president during hard times does have its disadvantages.

"Employment grew at the fastest pace in four years in April as businesses ramped up hiring, suggesting the economic recovery was growing less dependent on government support.
Employers added 290,000 jobs last month, the Labor Department said on Friday, far more than analysts had anticipated. In addition, 121,000 more jobs were created in February and March than previously estimated.
Private-sector job growth in April was much stronger than expected, with government hiring for the decennial U.S. census a secondary factor.
Officials have kept the economy on life support with record low interest rates and a $787 billion package of government spending and tax cuts, and the report eased fears the recovery could falter as the support fades.
The unemployment rate, however, rose to 9.9 percent as discouraged workers started to look for work again.
Stubbornly high unemployment has been a political sore spot for President Barack Obama and his fellow Democrats, even though the job market is showing increased vigor after its battering during the worst recession since the 1930s.
Private-sector employment increased 231,000, the largest gain since March 2006. Analysts had expected private payrolls to rise between 50,000 and 100,000. Like overall employment, private payrolls have now grown for four straight months.
Census hiring contributed 66,000 jobs in April.
More than 8 million jobs were lost during the recession and economists warn it will take years to regain them.
Last month, manufacturing payrolls saw their largest gain since 1998 and construction employment defied expectations of a fall. Service sector payrolls advanced for a fourth month, and temporary help hiring also rose.
Also encouraging, the length of the average workweek rose to 34.1 hours from 34 hours in March."
Mark my words, if the economy recovers, Obama will be a two term president. If not, he wont. Its that simple really.

A person should be able to decide what is best for himself or his/her family as long as it does not damage/hurt/demean anyone else.
Pro-Abortion (kind of): With regards to abortion, only through the 1st trimester and it can only be done later if the birth of the child will lead to the mother's death... no partial birth abortions.
Pro-Guns: The 2nd amendment is taken wayyy out of context, but people should be allowed to possess guns after a more thorough background check.
Anti-Lobbyists, Pro-Gay Marriage, Anti-Big Government, Anti-Welfare and Medicaid
Anti-Class Action lawsuits, Anti-Generic Companies being allowed to create a medication after a company invested their time/money into creating it (after the 20 year patent ends).
Anti-Social Security: If you aren't smart enough to save up money by yourself for when you retire, then you deserve to work a couple extra years.
Anti-Religion: I am not against people being religious; however, when they attempt to force their ideals and beliefs upon me (especially in legislature), they are forgetting that our American Ancestors came here to avoid such practices.
Stricter Immigration
And of course PRO-MARIJUANA.

Both of the 2 major parties are just corporate fueled douche bags willing to say anything to garner you're vote. There are some exceptions to this rule, but most care nothing about you, and shake you're hand, because they care, no, only because they want you're vote come November. The sooner we ALL realize this, the faster we can get real change, not some slogan by some fast talking mush mouth in a suit.
