Now I'm curious about this. I seen a video on youtube where a guy claimed he revegged an auto. now I'm just wanting to know is this possible? has anyone else done it. did it work and if so how?

I tried it, and for me it was a miserable failure I attempted to reveg a lowryder. I left the lower buds and as many leaves as I could, but it refused to grow, no new growth. I am no expert though.

Since they flower based on age and not photoperiod, it is likely impossible. Essentially, that is like telling someone on their deathbed that just got their arms and legs cut off to regrow them and be healthy again. But I left his head on!

Was it an Iranian Autoflower? Because those are technically misnamed. They are photoperiods that will flower under less than 24/7 light. That is, in theory, an "Autoflower" that could be revegged.

not to sure about the iranian autos but i once tried to veg 4 of my autos keeping them under a t5 8 bulb with the 6500k, and they just started to flower at week 4 as normal. like above im sure the autos flowering is triggered by age.

I saw that video, and wasn't all the impressed. The plant was "revegged" but just grew back a few small "popcorn" buds.

The quick answer is that while it might be possible to "re-veg" some autos under certain conditions, its probably not worth the bother. You'll probably be much happier starting from seed again.

In terms of the Iranian autoflower (and a few other strains like it, including Guerrilla Gold), these are effectively conventional photoperiod plants that will flower under relatively long light periods like 15-16 hours. They're not true "autoflowers" in the sense that they will flower under ANY light schedule. The biggest advantage of these is that they'll pretty much flower at any time when put outside in North America, potentially leading to very early harvests. These plants can be cloned and re-vegged, if you so choose.

Don't buy Iranian Auto, if you like having good customer service and paying less than 15 bucks a seed. Plus you can only clone the mother a month before she will flower (Straight from the breeder's mouth.). I have had a bad experience with them in the last 2 hours, so I may be slightly biased though.

I just want a plant that will do what Jorgo said, "The biggest advantage of these is that they'll pretty much flower at any time when put outside in North America, potentially leading to very early harvests." And this is what I'm after. So I can start them inside and everytime I throw a batch outside they start to flower, even during summer. It can be accomplished with auto's. But I'm looking for quanity as well, and autos dont seem to do that well.
