Hey guys... what would the ppm of water be after going through the r o filter??? my water is 300 ppm before the filter and 70 ppm after...

they all claim 0 PPM but i doubt that they get all the way down to 0

is your RO new? because youre supposed to let it run for a few hours

Also how many pre filters are there? some have 1 some have 2 and some have 3 or more.

What brand/where did you get it?

Yeah bro... Its brand new and been running for 2 hours now and i checked again and its sitting a 16 ppm.... delighted... got it on amazon for 65 euro... cheap... has 3 different filters... thanks for the reply ~ chris

Ive never actually tested mine. the ppm meter we got was broken before we made it to the spot.

But ive tried freezing it before and it wont in a normal freezer set to medium. Which means its pretty close to 0

Unless it is really high-end system, you will have trouble getting 0 ppm's. Mine sits at 10 ppm's new, however I have really hard water where I am located. I swap out the filters @ 25 ppm's. This usually takes 2.5 months of run time to achieve this reading. I have also went to the local grocery store and purchased water from an outside RO dispenser for .25 cents/gal and it came out at 17ppm's. Again, I have bad water too. Hope this helps bro.
