RO water and ph

hi growers

so i just got a RO filter i dont intent to use RO water on my plants . just for my humidifier but on saying that i mixed up a batch of nutrients using RO filtered water and my ph came to 5.2 . when i mix them nutrients in my tap water i get 6.4 . no difference in mixing ammounts just water quality . is that normial . this is my 1st experience with RO so forgive me if its a dumb question haha

RO water is slightly acidic around 6-6.5 thats why. Your tap water is probably between 7.5 and 8

RO and Distilled water are not reccomended for plants. They draw minerals and micronutrients out of your medium.
