rookiegrow water/newts ?

quick question when i water should i water till it comes out the bottom holes or water as i see needed? also been using fox farm grow big at 1/2 ts per gallon for 3-4 weeks should i increase dos. also hav FF big bloom i was waiting to use for flow. am i totally off on that because i was reading some one was using both grow and bloom during veg.

o and one of my room mates whos the kinda guy who only comes around when somthings going on and acts like he knows everything. well i came home and he told me he topped one of them. at 10 inches. did he pretty much screw me over on getting any kind of yield?
