Root Bound or Not .....?

:bigjoint:Hey all,

My plant is now 3months old (yes small for its age but i messed it up at the beginning)

Yesterday i FIM'd and i was planning on starting it to flower in one week

So i thought i would check the roots out today. My plant is currently in a 10ltr pot.

Please can you take a look at the pics and let me know if this is root bound yet? It has been growing very nice over the past 4 weeks

Do the roots still continue to grow during flowering?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Looks like you could use a bigger pot.
The roots will continue to grow during the plants entire life cycle.

yea i would transplant it watch it though if you use good soil like fox farms it will have fresh nutesin it so dont add any right off the bat

Thanks for the quick advice!!!

Now for my second question. I will repot tomorrow then. I was going to water the plant today (using coco by the way), would i be better off waiting until tomorrow and then water after i have repotted? She isnt very dry at the moment, but is getting that way. I take it it will be diffcult to remove from the current pot with all the extra weight of the water soaked into the media (coco)?

Thanks

dude, you shouldnt have fimmed the plant 2days before you planned to flower it, you should have fimmed it in its 3 or 4th week and then let it go till it was 3 months.

I need to repot so will proberbly wait another 2 weeks before flower. I put a post about topping, and all the comments i got was to FIM, bcos i hadnt topped the plant early enough
