root lock

if you take a plant outside in a two gallon pot during flowering,and you feel the plant has root lock,will transplanting it in the ground help.or is root lock unfixable.thanks.

You don't have to plant in the ground. Carefully take the plant out of the pot and airate(sp) the roots by gently massaging them. Then again I wouldn't transplant during flowering as it causes extra stress but it's your call.

thanks,they have been repotted during flowering already,they were in 1/2 gallon pots,three seem to be fine one looks like it is stunted,it is healthy and all but it just feels like root lock,compared to the others.thanks smokecaine.

im not sure about massaging the roots, but with other gardening ive done, if a plant is root bound, u can take it out and place it in a container of water and let it soak a bit, that'll loosen em up. then move it to your next pot, and give it a good watering.
im not sure if it'll disturn the flowering, but u can be sure it'll stress em out a bit
