Root Rot (Last Resort)

I have a plant in DWC that is struggling hard. It has root rot pretty severe. If I cut away as much as possible of the root rot and then soak the remaining roots in a hydrogen peroxide solution, then replant in soil would it work or at least have some probability of working I am running out of ideas here.

I have never had an issue with DWCuntil I traded in my Botannicare Pro Bloom for Advanced Nutrients Iguana Juice Bloom. I am not saying it is a bad product I love it, but it took me forever to detect root rot because it makes my resevoir the same color as the root rot kind of.

If you do T-plant to a natural medium then I recommend a huge BLAST of B-1 on the T-plant. Like 5 0z's to 4 gallon flush after t-planted. The B is good for Virus/fungus and shock. I once was messing with Lime and other amendments and well after all was said and done I ended up with a pot of acidic soil that was wacked. So I pulled her Douched her in 5 gal bucket with Super thrive and B-1 like 1 oz of B- 1 in 3 gallons and a sm cap of Super thrive. Gave her a Dunka Dunka rinse--- like 20 seconds or so then t- planted and flushed and she came out fine. Hydro P is something I would Google Like Hydro p--spelled out and MJ and see what you get on a solution for any other antiseptic/ Be sure do this in the Morning and let her dry out or run off all day before you seal up the plant with a drip catcher or light reflector on top. She will suffocate. Plenty of holes in pot.

I've battled root rot and lost before, I've attempted organics in my DWC a couple times too. I've transplanted to soil and saved plants using the technique you described. I second the superthrive tip, though I've never used quite so much before, a few drops per gallon has always worked well for me.

One thing I've noticed helps when using organics and DWC, if you bubble your nutes ahead of time for a day or two using a source of pro-biotic culture of some kind, worm poop, compost, etc, you'll get a much more root friendly environment. It'll be delicate to maintain, mess up once and you'll need to start all over again, but from what I understand beneficial microbes are required to fend off harmful microbes when working with organics in DWC.

There you are--- I read today about your Rot prob. 2% Hydro P solution Will help if you dunk them in that. Same with Clones when done Cloning dunk to get rid of any thing unwanted like fungus.
Yes--- to the Small cap on the super thrive bottle equals about 3-4 drops to a 4-5 gal bucket plus the B-1

Ok so I solved my root rot issue. I tranferred the smaller of the two to soil and trimmed it back after a few days. I dunked both in a hydrogen peroxide solution then a solution of water and jumpstart (Advanced Nutrients). Finally I added Orgegonism (Roots Organics) and then rubbed cloning gel on the top of the root system. I still have a bit of root rot that I am gunna kill by doing the same thing, but I have beautiful new white roots growing from everywhere :)
