roots turning brown

im doing a dwc grow with GH floronova it turns my water dark i think thats y they r brown has anyone else had this happen to them or should i start to panic
thanx everyone i know this my be a silly q but just had to ask to ease my mind

brown roots are a sign of root rot begining so its not a silly question.


i cant answer it for you tho as i have no exp with it but it may be ppossible (lets hope) that the nutes are dying the roots a darker color. good luck man

Ive been using the GH in soil with LK also and I would bet it's staining your roots as it makes water mixes shit brown. If they're growing fine I wouldn't set the alarm just yet, it is a pretty concentrated mix in those bottles.

You'll need to give them a H2O2 bath with straight water. Beneficial bacteria wont help once rot has developed.
