Rosin vs BHO

Well it's been around for a minute whats the jury say?

I have not tried rosin yet myself fucking dog fucked up my brand new hair straightener. lol

But as far as yields and what are the prices in your area?

I heard of $65 a gram for BHO but another dude couldn't even get $30 fucking New Englands in the stone age still. lol

All the rosin Ive made only turned out tits fucking nice when using the nices nugs, those ones that even if you only smoke concentrates youll want to wrap into paper and pack bowls like crazy. In order to end up with a slightly over all toasty specific strain taste? Certain terpenes get ruined but then again i think some might activate due to pressure/temp hence the nose tickles when dabbing rosin.
IMO unless the bud looks sick as fuck youre not getting an amazing yield, and even then i wish i had smoked it!

I literally used to keep a pound of nugs every crop just to carry me over, now I just use all the trim and sometimes get 13 to 15% return on trim and i have once gotten 27% off bud (no dewaxing). I extracted about 11 grams after purging just over a month ago and i prolly still got enough to last me a couple more weeks.
If you purge oil right and make sure to flip it a couple of times butane present is negligible

I haven't found anything not to like from either process, when done well. In judging concentrate cups, Rosin was the best submitted in the solventless category, in the last one.

Rosin has yet to be developed so that it scales up as well as BHO. Producers requiring pounds of essential oil concentrates, will find it labor intensive.

Rosin is arguably the cheapest oleoresin concentrate for a noobe to tool up for and the quickest to achieve happy results.

It can be done indoors, and doesn't involve flammable/explosive solvents, so is safer.

I've noticed different effects from the same material, with the Rosin producing more head effects.

Easier to hold on to the monoterpenes with Rosin extraction, which may be the prime factor in the different effects.

Harder to produce a pristine gawgus museum quality mint flawless bell clear shatter with the Rosin process, but easier to win blind fold tests, because of the strong aroma and flavor.

I look at Rosin and BHO as different sides of sweet Mary Jane's multiple fine minds and winning personalities! Like comparing well aged Filet Mignon and NY Steak.........
