Really looks like just brusid but I would move the decaying leaves away fro from them just to prevent mold issues later u can cover them up with a plant pot so nothing further harms them and just check on it in a day or two and see how they are if good them just leave the pot on them tell done mushrooms don't need light to grow so u don't have to stress on them

Update Canndo! Today I went out and most of them are breaking their caps
Should I pick them now or wait until tomorrow for them to mature a little longer?

Thanks man!! I was thinking the samething. Maybe the cold temps and overall outdoor environment made them short and stubby? Either way man I am so excited to see them

PE is my all time favorite! How do u dry yours ? I found that a screen from a window in a plastic box on top of kitty litter works fast like cracker dry in a day and a half to 2 days. By ur pics urs look pretty bulky so I'd assume 2 1/2 days I grow PE6 its a hybrid of PE and texans so not as fat as the original PE....

put them in/on a paper bag,on top of your fridge or in a colander over your reflector if you grow..or if you wanna spend,get a bag of silica at your hobby store(used for dried flower arrangements) and fill a tupperware with it,put wax paper on the silica,and shrooms on top of the paper,careful not to getthe silica on em..cover and wait 7 hrs..done(this will also petrify a mouse!)

I put mine in a food dehydrator. I have a Nesco FD-61 Snackmaster Encore Dehydrator And Jerky Maker. I put it on about 125 degrees and depending on the size of my fruits I have cracker dry fruits in about 6-8 hrs. If I have HUGE fruits I turn them temp up a bit. With this method I find no need for a desiccant or oxygen absorber. Right when they are done I quickly bag them and put them into mason jars. I have fruits form last December and this Jan that are still as potent as the day I picked them.

Maybe its just me and heat it just always seams I loose some potency when I use a dehydrator

I think I got them at the right time, all the caps are breaking and they got bigger
Heres what I ended up with. They got significantly bigger by tonight! Check them out now They are all SOLID, not a single one is hollow. The stubby dude may give me a hard time drying, I may end up cutting it open. Weight is 30 grams wet. Should be enough for a nice PE experience.
