Royal Gorilla- READ BEFORE YOU BUY

I have now done 4 crops of Royal Gorilla, 80 different seeds and I’ve had so many problems with them it’s not even funny.
I’ve never come across any strain in the last 15 years that is as fickle and prone to herm and mould, as the Royal Gorilla.

Herm problems are real with this strain. Your chances of not getting a herm are about 1/20 (given my variables and averages)
They take training well as far as form goes, but then they love to freak out and herm on you when you go to flip.

Mould problems are also difficult with this strain. If you manage to find one that doesn’t herm out on you , chances are it would start to mould.

Out of the 80 seeds I have tried , I have ONE that is decent, stable, and been cloned.
There may have been a few others the last few runs , but it’s hard to say.

These plants need a cool environment, and be very careful when giving any sort of training , especially HST. Very unstable plant but very potent when you get a good one.

I grew the RQS Royal Gorilla seeds out a few years ago and found a keeper.
Ì kept a short squat one with very little stretch in flowering and love it. A bushy plant
Ì usually chop at around 10 weeks
Mould can be a problem without good air circulation especially in the Autumn.

I've read the original clone is quite prone to hermie and can be difficult to clone.
I've got 2 x Original S1 seeds that have just popped. Wanna see if there's any difference.
