Well the plant is about a month or maybe a bit less into flowering and within the last few days I've noticed white specks forming on the tops of some of my fan leaves. I removed fan leaf tip that had some of these on it to check it out with my 100x microscope and to me it looks like salt. Kinda crystaly but clearly not THC crystals. Currently i am not able to get you guys a picture but hopefully i will be able to get some soon being they are clear to see with the naked eye.

Anyone know what this could be?

Are you flushing any salt build up is a defo no/no. You don't have to just flush at the end of flowering i flush during veg annd floewering the plant produce salts whitdh in nature would dissperce into the groun flush them with just water get the water around 5;5ph start feed little by little.

Does salt buildup from nutes happen on the leaves? Ive been doing a lot of research and mostly i find that salt buildup happens in the soil. Although i did flush it just to be sure but i haven't noticed any difference yet.

The plant other than these white spots seems to be extremely healthy. The leaves aren't drooping and there's very little discoloration. Just the normal yellowing during flowering.

It could be powdery mildew, you shouldnt have any salt on your leaves. Hope it is not powdery mildew. It sucks.

salt builds up in the soil and doesn't show up as white specks on the leaves. You might have spidermites, check underneath the leaves for tiny bugs crawling around.

Ive checked for spider mights using a 60x magnifier just to be sure and as of now i see no signs of them unfortunately i kinda thought it was mildew too but I'm not sure yet.

Does mildew have a smell?

And if it is mildew is there a fix for that? There is barley any white spots on her so far but it could potentially spread farther i would assume.

if it's mildew you should be able to wipe it off, if not it's most likely spidermites, you don't need a mag glass to see spidermites
