San Fernando Valley OG Kush DWC grow, yellow leaf tips

I am new to growing, and this forum in particular has been a great help to me so far. So I'm finally posting my own pics, and hopefully someone can give me some pointers on what is going on.

I've attached a couple of pics of my set up, but I think this one below best shows off the problem.

Is this nute burn? I diluted the water a good bit today, and I suspect the plants will be alright even if I do nothing (they are growing), but does anyone have any suggestions anyway?

I have 1 other plant, which is Super Skunk growing in a pot next to the SFV guys. I had the lights directly over the new SFV clones for the last week, but I decided to move the lights up today just to give the super skunk some more light today. I could probably do with maybe 50-100% more lighting, but the pair of 85 watt CFLs I have are good enough for starting out.

I've been measuring the ph at least once a day, it has been between 5.5 and 5.75 for the past 4 days (they have been in the tent for 8 days now). I have never measured it above 6.25, and that was only after the first day. Do you think there is a problem with my ph strips?

My ph has been fluctuating very little since the 3rd day of the grow. Currently it is measuring 5.75. I have no way of measuring ppm. The nutes I got were part of a kit, and it did not tell me to use a smaller dosage at the start of the grow... it just says, put this much per gallon, and there is a veg, bloom, and micro types. I used the full amount of veg and micro nutes before I learned that you are not supposed to do that. However I did follow the kit instructions, and the plants are growing.

So I need to know what to do. I could try and lower the ph more if you are sure that is what the plants want, but I have been measuring it between 5.5 and 6 for the whole grow, and it has tended to stay around 5.5 more than 6. But if the plants are really telling me they want a lower ph, I can do that... although I am so hesitant to do that I don't know I will unless a bunch of people tell me to do it.

I am planning on just maintaining the ph around 5.6, and when I change the water in a few days, I am only going to use 1/2 the nutes as last time for a day and perhaps slowly add the remainder depending on how I feel the plants are reacting. Is there a better plan? Is messing with the nutes going to be productive at all, or is there no chance that is what is wrong?

So I decided to go buy some decent nutes instead of using the mystery stuff that came with the kit. I started a flush, so there is just water in there now. I was thinking to add some nutes in 24-36 hours, maybe more or less depending on if I see a change for better or worse over that time. I will try and keep people updated on the grow, I know I like seeing everything all of you are growing!
