Sativa's And Wattage?

Many say that sativa's need alot of light requirement to grow
beautifully.

How much light do your's need?, or does it depend on how tall it gets?
 
Cool, i was thinking about a 1000w, but idk.
I don't know how i would even ventilate the heat?
Plus co2? Is that fresh air for the plant?
Can't ya just use a fan to give it fresh air and cool it down?

Usually on the 1000wt HPS, they have one fitting at each end. Stick a fan on each end, one exhaust, one intake, and have corrosponding hoses direct the air flow. Co2 is'nt fresh air. It's one of the key building blocks of plants. Having just fans on the plants just recirculates the warm air in the room. You will need to get frsh air from somewhere, so the air can cool and it wont go stagnat on ya.

I half agree.....and half disagree.?...?

I feel as if i need a 600 watt to make sure my plants
become nice with buds.

The 400 watts is cheaper which is better for me
but myself says no go with the 600
so everything will be much better.

sigh.....

One thing i have ensurely

I'm no good at making decisions.
 
Couple questions. What strain of sativa are you planning on growing indoors? And how high is your grow room? And, is your grow room large enough to keep the hps at the right height, while growing a sativa indoors.. Questions, man, questions.

I know you want that energetic high and all, but they have indica strains, that have that too. Unless, this is just for expierimental purposes. But if you do decide to disregard what I'm saying, I'd love to see the grow lol

3-6 plants maximum

Here is what i plan on getting

AK-47 (serious seeds)
Chronic (serious seeds)
Bubblegum (serious seeds)
C-99 (Joey Weed)
Purple Bud (Seedsman)

You said 3-6 min. What's the max? I wouldn't go over 8 with that light, and the strains, are pretty much all going to be ready for harvest at diff. times. I thought you were talking about straight sativa, not hybrids, that's a diff. story haha. Either way, good luck on the grow man, you should do a journal.

Correction maximum (sry), yeah they are hybrids but chances are some
strains may change.

I'm looking for a strain that will give me a high/stoned (im not positive that i have smoked sativa before to know what the high is like, usually i get that dumbed out lazy feeling with the blur vision) feeling without the lethargic effect. Basically i want a strain to get me high but to where i can physically function and not be too dumbed out, atleast to get shit done.

I feel ya on the journal, but i still need to save up on lights.

I plan on getting a "600 watt grow bright system"
with

Airoflow Reflector and
Agromax Hps and Mh Bulbs

at htgsupply.

It comes out to around $430 with shipping.

Then i need a damn power drill to make mods to my grow room.

The next light I'm buying, which is about the same price, but I'm buying 2 HO Flouro 4ft (I like flouros) and I'm going to grow in rubbermaid tubs, 4-6 in each. Trying for 6 tubs, 2 lights. The light have 10,000l each, so I'm pretty happy with it. If you've never smoked pure sativa, it's deff. worth growing, if you have the requirements. It'll get shit done haha

Yeah i might instead get willie nelson from reeferman seeds,
which is pure sativa and top 3 in the top ten strains of high-times.

By getting shit done you mean by getting like physical things done,
like working out or something, cause that's what i meant.

Reason is i'm not a lazy guy when sober so i want something to fit my character is all.

That's exactly what I mean. It's almost like coke but not as intense haha. Not really, it's like a rockstar feeling. I've known people that grew willie, but it was outdoors.. that strain gets tall as shit, I'm tellin' you. I'm sure you could deal, though.

I recently started working out like a maniac, as well. I'm diggin' it. I'm usually not lazy, regardless of whatever I'm smoking, but then again.. that White Rhino from last harvest get's me pretty ripped, so once in a while I just chill. Oh shit, another one to try if you haven't already is white rhino.. it's so fucking intense hahaha It makes you stupid baked.

Im sure though if you lower the light it won't grow to tall.

Yeah i'm definitely getting a strain to chill on.
